Like Half Girlfriend, I read this book to find out what India's top-selling writers are writing. But, alas, once again I am feeling disappointed.
CB's Half Girlfriend was a big let down, considering he is the Most-Read writer of India. The same can be said about Ravinder's Your Dreams Are Mine Now. Ravinder is arguably the second most (or maybe 3rd most, if Durjoy is 2nd) read writer in India. His first book was honest, and simple. But after that, I have only seen a monotonous writing. His last.more

Quite disappointed with the book.
After reading prologue u will have an idea where its gonna end. I have read the first book from Ravinder Singh and i quite liked it as it was very honest. Just because your first book had tragic ending, not all the books need to have a tragic ending. Little anatomy, What exactly was this book about because i fail to understand 1. Love Story - quite amateurish 2. Address Social political issue - blunder 3. Attempt to reminiscent Delhi rape case - i found it selfish.more
The author accepts in his acknowledgement that the title was not his choice. And certainly it has nothing to do with the story line. Just a marketing trick. So half the time i was trying to find the story which matches the title or even the description at the back cover.
The book starts as a simple love story, girl with dreams, a rough boy, college background, few ups and downs. But suddenly everything gets wrong. The end was very emotional and had a strong depiction of the infamous rape case of.more

It is a story about eighteen years old, confident, idealist girl Rupali from Patna who takes admission in Delhi Universtiy and Arjun a Delhi guy who is seriously into politics. An incident in DU brings both of them close. They face ups and down but always stand by each other's side. The way Rupali raise her voice for someone else and stood against something terrible happened on campus is the main plot.
The love story of Arjun and Rupali goes very slowly which makes me feel bored. but there are a.more

The title goes well with the book, how Rupali's dream become every single readers Dream. The story is meant to live in a reader's heart forever. The last 20 pages was sheer terror, and thankfully over like a pinprick. There were times when I felt like the author just wrote for filling up pages, but last 8 chapters were passionate. (view spoiler)[ It's about the Nirbhaya case. Graphic images ahead (in 25th chapter),beware. (hide spoiler)]

I read 'Can love happen Twice' in 2012 and decided that no more books by this author because of which I missed out two of his book after 2012. After reading his this book I'm pretty sure I made the right decision by not wasting my time over his last two books. The author needs to understand research is always good for a book but you aren't writing a research paper here. In this book he is giving detailed ver.more

I thought this would be a light read, and I would be able to finish it in a day. I was wrong. While the book itself was not too big and language quite simple, the subject it touches upon is complex. There are allusions to widely prevalent problems in our country like Sexual harrassment, corruption, caste based reservation quota etc, which I think is important, due to the huge fanbase this author seems to have. but they're mere plot devices and barely grazes the surface. You'd argue 'but.more
If I am allowed to give a negative rating to a book, it would be this. The cover is misleading. But most importantly, Ravinder Singh has just woven a college love story around the infamous Nirbhaya case. Why did he really write this book, I wonder. A typical college love story only with an exception that the girl fights against the college professor for taking advantage of a peon.
P.S: I did not buy the book. I borrowed it for time-pass.
Awesome book!! India needs to read this one!!! Then one will realize that people who abuse women are scoundrels and these scoundrels need to be wiped off from our Indian society.
Hatts Off Ravinder Singh
It's an ok book.definitely better from the previous one. But the aurhor's best work is still his first book.possibly that was straight from his heart!!!!
I would love to read something that is a lot mature and that reflect's real life emotions.. An average book..

Simple love story of a girl who comes to delhi from patna with her own dreams, falls in love, fights for what she is right. Climax was touching though not expected to end that way.
Good read.
it was a nice read, much better than author's last 'Like it happened yesterday' and over-hyped CB's 'Half girlfriend'.
interesting storyline. Different than other love stories. but same as last novels love last but not the girl.
Simple love story filled with reality check! Perfect.!

One of India's top writers think a book is where you write Bollywood scripts.
(Well, more than one of India's top writers think that) Your Dreams are mine Now is essentially the story of transformation of a rural girl into a delhilite through of course Love. The cover seems fancy and a sure hit formula for success of Indian Books. Include a girl, a good looking couple or something symbolising freedom on the cover and your book is supposed to be a sure Hit. Doubt my judgement? Try looking at India'.more
i really enjoyed reading this book,by seeing the cover i thought its just another love story, but its more than that.this book will help people who have enough courage in their heart but fails to speak up when anything bad occurs, since their heart and mind are not in sync.when heart boils with anger, the mind prevents it from protesting.rather moves back in fear.its just what i thought and after reading this i feel more confident in myself just because i felt some connections between me an.more

Its written in very simple and easy language, that any novice reader easily can read it enjoy it like Chetan Bhagats novels. Story is good. I enjoyed the part when semester break start and Rupali did not go back to home ,during these break days Arjun and Rupali regurly met and hangouts in different places in delhi and their feelings grow for each other.

Unlike other Indian authors(who focuses on love stories) Ravinder singh has his uniqueness. This particular book opens with a promising start and ends with unfortunate turn of events. After reading this you may feel that is a common story which you are familiar of. But then the question is, whether you have to consider this as just a story? Unfortunately in India, this story is too common. It would have been better if this story just stayed in the book. But that is not the case. Every day we hea.more
I was seriously let down after reading this one, was expecting something better especially after reading mind blowing book like 'I TOO HAD A LOVE STORY'. It is set on the DELHI GANG RAPE or quite similar to it but just felt like that a story was being told and I am just sitting there and listening(reading) waiting for it to finish. Never got that feeling as 'what happens now' or 'wow' etc. In the end I'll just say that it is not so good as compared to Singh's first work, pick it up if you don't.more
